The loveliest soy latte I have had in a while.
A plate filled with sourdough toast, peaches and fresh ricotta, all drizzled in maple syrup.
The newspaper.
A book.
A little bit of solitude.
Just for an hour.
Bliss.
Grateful.
And grateful to Maxabella for this weekly opportunity to reflect on gratitude.
This does sound like bliss indeed.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you Suz!

Sorry about my slow blogging this week :( Love your new blog... I've been working on my blog make-over for the past week too and getting so excited about it... a nice distraction from IVF :)) Love your gratitude post... you're an amazing mum - love your outlook xoxo
ReplyDeleteOooh, just a wee bit jealous of this, especially given today was supposed to be MY day off, but Simon got called in to work for overtime. Oh well, some other time. Sounds lovely. You deserve lovely.

That sounds absolutely perfect, Suz. And, hey, you've got two blogs! x
ReplyDeleteOh I did that too today! the 8yo had a Maccas party at the smallest party room in history, so skivved off and had a champagne, chicken/avo/sundried tomato sandwhich thing and it was DEVINE. Also took a book to read. Amazing how these things are so amazing now. xx
ReplyDeleteThis made me physically swoon...
ReplyDeleteBlissful.
